Verhaaren, verb. regul. neutr. mit dem Hülfsworte haben. 1. Die Haare verwechseln, wofür sich haaren üblicher ist. In der Jägerey gebraucht man das Wort verhaaren von dem Raubwilde, dagegen von dem Roth- und Schwarzwilde färben und sich färben üblicher ist. 2. Aufhören sich zu haaren. Ein Thier hat verhaaret, wenn es sich nicht mehr haaret, seine Haare schon verwechselt hat.
